Administration and transparency

• The members’ annual contributions are used to cover basic operational costs of Eco-Villages, while donations are used according to the donor’s wishes, either entirely for the projects or more broadly for the operational expenses of Eco-Villages.
• We abide by the bookkeeping standards recommended by Swiss GAAP Rpc 21 for all our work.
• An external accountant verifies the bookkeeping and also accompany each project to ensure that it is managed correctly in Switzerland. The same procedure applies to all projects in other countries, an additional local external accountant verifies the financial management of the projects.
